Vincent Fritzsche is a producer of pinot noir, chardonnay, and pinot blanc. His focus is on "low-input winemaking, without a lot of fuss." He seeks out biodynamic grapes, ferments with native yeasts and produces terroir-drive wines. After creating top-quality wines in his own Portland garage and apprenticing at vineyards across Oregon and California, Vincent launched his eponymous label in 2009 - also homage to Saint Vincent of Sargossa, the patron saint of vintners. Vincent currently crafts his wines at the Southeast wine collective in Portland.
Vincent will be at both stores this weekend to pour a few of his current releases, including his very limited quantity chardonnay; stop in to meet him and taste the wines.
